CATOLITE Series of Lead Free Pigments
Exposure to lead causes significant injury to human health and imposes large economic and social cost on developing countries.
As such mostly highly Industrialised Countries severly restricted the lead content of paint for sale and use in their countries.
The current total limit for lead in decorative paint is 90 Part Per Million (PPM) emphasizing the importance of avoiding even low level exposure.
There are no 1:1 alternatives for PY 34 & PR 104. As a result it is not necessary to have 1:1 replacement. As the desired performance attributes can be achieved by means of combination of suitable Organic & InOrganic Pigments.
As such each formulation is unique & will often certain other pigments it is not possible to be precise about the blend of replacement of pigments.
